Public Notices

June 9, 2014 - NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the County of Bucks and the Township of Bristol that we have applied for funds under the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2014 Local Solicitation. The primary goals for this funding are to support law enforcement programs, stabilize local budgets, and to provide technology advancements, equipment, and supplies to increase and enhance the capabilities of law enforcement. On behalf of both agencies, I welcome your comments, input and questions on the intended use of the funds. You may contact Detective Robert Lebo, the Grant Administrator, directly with your feedback by e-mail at police@bristoltownship.org.

Bristol Township will be utilizing their funding to implement an online reporting module connected to their records management system (RMS). This module will allow a citizen to report certain minor, non-emergency crimes/reports via the Internet. Online reporting generates an incredible savings in time and allows agencies to better reallocate resources to proactively face crime trends and better meet the needs of the community.
